1. Steps to use Global Periodicals
Step a). The user has to login first. Then, only he can perform the search.
Step b). After login in, he can perform a search on the Free e –contents on the site.
Step c). Now, he can enter the text to be searched in the text search box and select the type of the e-contents and the subject and press “Search Tab”.
2. Search Options
Option that is available to perform the search is:
i. Text Search: It is recommended to be used when the search has to be done across all the available e – contents.This interface will search the result from the database of all e-Journals, Databases, e-books, e-thesis, e-Learning courses, etc.

Basic Search: Provides access to Table of Contents details of more than 2,200 E-Journals, 600 e – Books, 475 e-Theses, 200 e – Learning Courses, 60 free databases. User has the option to select the specific subject of the title and he can also search in all subjects.
Advance Search: User can make a search specific e-content like e-Books, Online Databases, e-Learning Courses, e-Journal, e- Thesis. Apart from having all search facility that is included in Basic & Subject Search.
Subject Search: A user can perform his search on a specific subject and the subject is again classified into the sub – subjects. He can select any e-contents that are present in the basic search.
